
stkchk4 asked: I have a cholesterol check coming up this week and I’ve really blown the healthy lifestyle thing lately. In the past, I impressed my dr. w/great hdl, low ldl reasonable triglyceride levels. Lately, I’ve been drinking too much beer, not eating enough of the good stuff, stressing waaayy too much and not exercising like I need to. Please don’t respond by telling me to get exercise and eat right - I already know this, thank you — I just have to get past this blood test. Things are starting to even out enough for me to pay attention to this like I should.
Oh yeah, if you’re going to tell me to eat more bread and pasta with more alcohol to make it better - please don’t. Thanks!
Not trying to ‘fool the doc’ — just trying to not take the extra meds he’s sure to give me when I just need a little time to get back on track. If I were trying to get one over on my health providers because I was afraid of being judged, don’t you think I just wouldn’t bother going?
